John M. Licari
Music has always been at the center of my life. Whether teaching in the classroom, composing new works, performing as a percussionist, or leading marching bands, my purpose has always been to create and share music.
I began offering sheet music and copyist services while studying at Hunter College, where I supported faculty and students with engraving and preparation projects. What started as a side service quickly grew—leading to collaborations with professors, composers, and publishers. Since then, my copyist work has appeared in professional journals, scholarly books, online publications, and major commissioned projects. I’ve also engraved and published my own compositions, as well as works for other composers.
Through John M. Licari Music Services, I now provide sheet music and copyist services, music composition, audio recording, and curriculum resources. I love this work because it blends artistry with precision, helping musicians, educators, and creators bring their ideas to life. I look forward to the opportunity to do the same for you.
“High-quality music services, from the classroom to the stage.”
